Beautiful and comfortable property that was about 15 minutes away from the San Jose International airport. We took a cab from the airport and then used public transportation to get around the city.
They had a nice swimming pool where we swam to get over our jet lag.
Our tiny studio apartment was cozy and simple.
Our kitchen had 2 electric burners and a mini fridge.
A continental breakfast was included and was served pool side.
Very spacious room and bathroom.
We will never forget our experiences in this jungle cabin in Cabo Matapalo – solar power, a septic system and water from a well.
Costa Rican coffee made the old fashioned way – slow drip
Weak wifi signal at the cabin, so we had to go to the main house to get any work done.
Open air jungle cabin with no screens to keep the bugs out. The nights were difficult, but the days were lovely.
Our bathroom had everything we needed, even moths flying around the shower at night.
Ocean views from their upstairs bar
The hotel staff surprised Mike with a homemade birthday cake, bottle of champagne and handwritten birthday card!
Breathtaking views of the San Jose area
Delicious breakfast was included
Francesca (pictured here) and Riki were fantastic hosts
Our apartment was on the 2nd floor and had a great balcony for eating al fresco
The grounds and flora were beautifully designed and kept up
Spacious and comfortable bedroom with closets
Our kitchen had everything we needed! We could have stayed forever!
Large living room with great wi-fi
From the 2nd floor, we had a beautiful view of the Arenal Volcano
We were greeted by Daniel (owner’s son) who had just cut these coconuts from their tree
